Being serious here. Have been having a blast for damn near 7 years now. One of the reasons I shut down newsucks500 was yes, Chris and his bullshit.. seriously dude? My kids with autism? You had to go there? Another reason was I was taking on a position in a new state having finally finished my degree after years and years of hard work, remedial shit jobs like delivering pizza, paying for college with not one god damned student loan or debt to speak of. I chose a position close to where I was born and raised, where my family was, and where I considered home. The company has been great, it has seriously been a dream job for me. I've got to meet people like Mark Wahlburg, and R. Lee Ermey (Gunny from Full Metal Jacket), the dude from American pickers, tons of magazine guys, tons of online site editors, cameras, bikers, Jesse from Jackyl, Smashmouth, fuck it goes on and on. Was kinda freaked out, then actually excited when I saw someone open the site again, rock on dude!! Keep the fuckin suckage alive!!

What a bunch of corporate globalist horseshit.

Since we are a powersports company, we get slammed in the ass twice because of tariffs. First we have to pay a higher price for materials like steel, aluminum, plastics, then any bike we sell overseas gets taxed again with tariffs as a whole product. What the company did to get around this, was start building our European models in Europe. This still affects our bottom dollar and slows sales. For the first time in years, we were running shortened schedules, reduced hours. We're finally picking up again and back on overtime (for now), but profit sharing is looking to be shit this year. We're banking on the new FTR1200 driving us even further for next year since demand for one was there before we even announced we were building it. Have some cool things to offer with it which I can't talk about at this time, under an NDA (non-disclosure agreement).

Guess I shouldn't complain too much, the Harley boys are really getting hit hard, except they actually had to let people go. They also did the same thing with building foreign models overseas to bypass tariffs, but for them, they now have people screaming that their bikes aren't made in America anymore, which is completely false. Sad that I would defend our competition, but my thoughts are, if they are the competition, then it should be a fair fight. Alot of the Harley guys gather around here in the fall for our annual bike rally, and they are all pretty cool people. So if anything, it is a friendly fight. Maybe not in the minds of devoted Harley or Indian fans when they argue on the internet about it, but we all have fun building these things.

Then you had to go on about being banned or some shit which is completely false for one thing, I pulled that code from the software before I even opened the damn place. Had nothing to do with administrating, but more to do with security in case of hacking so a would be hacker couldn't lock me or anyone out if they got into the admin panel.
